Desi Benjamin grabs me sometime around 11 and asks me If I can shoot a set on Jaslin Diaz.
I say sure, what day.
He says now.
Having spent the last two days shooting the same set up, I search around for something new. Problem is I’ve got two more commercial sets shooting next week. In walks my model. I hand her paperwork stalling for time, scan the place for another second, and settle on the corner. I get the set dressed and my last light in place just as she dates and signs the 2257.
I much prefer having an hour or two to dress and light. At least now I know I can do it in 7 minutes. I call this one shadows and sockets.
